As of June 23, 2026, Foundry Digital, AntPool, ViaBTC, and F2Pool controlled more than 70% of Bitcoin network hashrate, with shares of about 31%, 18%, 13%, and 10%, respectively. According to ChainCatcher, Foundry Digital is a U.S.-based mining pool backed by Digital Currency Group and mainly serves large institutions and public mining companies.
D-Central said its Nakamoto coefficient for the first half of 2026 was 3, meaning just three mining pools could produce more than half of blocks. It added that ViaBTC faced tighter regulatory scrutiny in 2026, and some miners had shifted to alternative pools such as EMCD.
