A desalination plant in western Jask, Hormozgan Province, was attacked, cutting drinking water supplies completely for about 10,000 residents in 20 nearby villages. According to Jin10, the attack also damaged infrastructure in the province as U.S. strikes on Hormozgan Province continued on local time Friday, according to Iranian sources.

Hormozgan Province Water and Wastewater Company CEO Abdulhamid Hamzehpour said the Bonji desalination plant's seawater pumping station and related power transformers were destroyed. He said staff are working to provide emergency water supplies to residents and repair the damaged facilities so water service can be restored as soon as possible.
