Junda Shares' controlling subsidiary Shanghai Xingshu Tiansuan Aerospace Technology has launched the first constellation of its Star Pivot Plan, according to Ming Pao. The project was officially unveiled at the Space Computing forum at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference.
The project is led by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization and is listed as a key project under the 15th Five-Year Plan. It is positioned as a flagship space computing constellation project with a total plan to deploy 1,000 space-based computing satellites. The project is expected to help more than 100 upstream and downstream supporting companies over five years and lift Shanghai's annual output value from the space computing industry above RMB100 billion.
