On July 18 at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), Tencent announced multiple product and technology upgrades for embodied AI and agent applications, according to 36Kr. The company said it formally upgraded its full-stack embodied AI solution, spanning cloud infrastructure, models, platforms and applications, to support robot hardware and system developers.
Tencent also launched a differentiated agent portfolio for both enterprise and individual users. Its enterprise-grade intelligent agent development platform, ADP 4.0 overseas edition, is now live, alongside a new ecosystem plan covering 10 industries and 100 scenarios. Tencent said the platform has been deployed across more than 30 industries, including customer service, knowledge management and media production. For consumers, Tencent released WorkBuddy as a standalone app, which it said is the industry's first general-purpose agent app available on iOS, Android and Huawei's HarmonyOS.
