Kimi's official X account reposted test results comparing 3D modeling performance with Anthropic's Claude Fable 5 in maximum compute mode. According to Odaily, the test asked both models to recreate the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars in pixel and original styles.
In the first pixel-style test, Kimi K3 took 1 hour and 11 minutes and cost $14.5, while Claude Fable 5 took 49 minutes and cost $21. In the second original-style test, Kimi K3 took 1 hour and 17 minutes and cost $19.3, compared with 1 hour and 5 minutes and $47.2 for Claude Fable 5.
The results said Kimi K3 was slightly slower than Fable 5 but had a clear cost advantage. The test also said Kimi K3's detail handling in original-style 3D modeling was close to Fable 5, while it still lagged in the pixel-style task.
