According to Axios, President Trump endorsed Darline Graham Nordone, the sister of the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, in the special election to replace him as the GOP candidate on the November ballot in South Carolina. Nordone Graham has not publicly confirmed whether she will run, but Trump said in a Truth Social post that he asked her to run in the special Republican primary on Aug. 11, 2026, and said he would give her his "Complete and Total Endorsement" if she accepts. The winner of November's election will serve until January 2033, while Nordone Graham was sworn in earlier this week to fill her brother's seat for the remainder of the current term, which ends Jan. 3, 2027.
