Cardano Hands Core Development To Outside Teams In Decentralization Push

Cardano developer Input Output is handing core blockchain development to outside teams, including the Haskell node, Plutus, Daedalus, Hydra and other components, as founder Charles Hoskinson says the network must change and start growing again. According to CoinDesk, the handover begins in August and will continue into 2027, with Se7en Labs and Teragone among the specialist firms taking responsibility for some components.
