i-CABLE Broadband To Invest $4.5 Million In South Korea's OPG Group

i-CABLE Broadband Holdings (1097) said an indirect wholly owned subsidiary has entered into an investment agreement and conditionally agreed to make a $4.5 million financial investment in South Korea's OPG Group for organizing and operating events, according to Ming Pao reported.

The company said the investment gives it exposure to a South Korean music festival investment and the exclusive rights to conduct live artist interviews and produce dedicated editorial content programs, to be distributed through its OTT streaming platform and free TV channel. The investment will be paid in three instalments, with the final payment due by the end of August.
