Kuwait said several army personnel were wounded in an Iranian drone attack on Kuwait early on July 17. According to Jin10, Kuwait's military said at 17:00 local time on July 17 that the wounded were among its army personnel, after announcing at 00:00 on July 17 that its air defenses intercepted hostile missiles and drones. Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy later said a seawater desalination and power facility in the country caught fire after being hit, while Iran had not responded at the time.
