According to CNBC, Meta Platforms and Microsoft ranked highest in a new survey of options positioning across the most-actively traded S&P 500 stocks, with Amazon, Tesla and Advanced Micro Devices also among the leaders. The analysis, based on Nations Indexes' RiskDex metric, found Meta's score at 0.75 and Microsoft's at 0.79, both indicating stronger demand for calls than puts versus their own past-year ranges. Amazon's RiskDex was 0.98, while Tesla and Advanced Micro Devices were both near 0.9. Scott Nations, president of Nations Indexes, said the broad call skew could be a contrary signal and suggested bullish investors may be setting themselves up for disappointment.
