SlowMist said macOS information-stealing malware can hijack Telegram Desktop sessions and compromise cryptocurrency wallets. According to NS3.AI, the malware can also harvest data from macOS Keychain, Safari cookies, Apple Notes, and databases linked to more than a dozen cryptocurrency wallets.
SlowMist said Telegram two-step verification does not prevent the attack because the malware reuses an authenticated local session.
