CryptoQuant analyst Axel Adler Jr. said on X that Bitcoin long-term holders added about 371,000 BTC over the past 30 days, lifting total holdings to 16.34 million BTC and a record high. According to Odaily, the accumulation trend has stayed positive for 186 consecutive days.
Adler also said the current CDD indicator stands at 313 million, below 899 million a year ago, which he said shows long-term holders are still keeping rather than selling their coins. He added that over the past year, Bitcoin's price fell from $118,600 to $63,800.
Adler said reduced supply only means fewer coins are available for sale, and that price increases require buying demand.
