Bitcoin developer Leonidas has launched DOG Mode, an open-source Bitcoin client meant to loosen relay limits for large transactions and lower the dust limit, while bypassing any vote. According to CoinDesk, the proposal would raise the maximum standard transaction from 400,000 weight units to 3,900,000 and cut the dust limit to a single satoshi, which Leonidas says could free about $25 million in padding for Ordinals and Runes.
