On July 17, Zhao Yuchao, head of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange's balance of payments department, said at a State Council Information Office briefing that foreign investment into China is expected to keep improving, according to 36Kr. He cited three factors: China's industrial upgrading and technological innovation will continue to create new investment opportunities; China will steadily expand institutional opening-up and improve services and safeguards for foreign investors while optimizing financial connectivity mechanisms; and China's stronger economic resilience and stable renminbi will offer global capital more options for diversified allocation.
