据Axios报道，特朗普周四晚间的黄金时段讲话预计聚焦选举安全，至少四大电视网中的两家不会进行现场直播，但可通过流媒体观看。NBC表示，将在NBC News NOW直播总统讲话，并在随后于NBC播出“特别报道”；ABC则称，会在其24小时流媒体频道ABC News Live、ABC News Radio以及常规网络新闻节目中播出，并准备在出现重大进展时插播直播更新。CBS和FOX尚未公布安排。
