A wallet that previously drained the BONK treasury through a governance attack sent 1.186 trillion BONK to a CEX, or centralized exchange, three hours ago. According to BlockBeats On-chain Detection, the address had spent about $4.4 million 10 days earlier to buy enough BONK to reach the governance voting threshold, then introduced and forced through a proposal that transferred 4.426 trillion BONK from the treasury.
On the day of the incident, the wallet also moved 4 billion BONK to another CEX, while the rest remained on-chain. The treasury-drained BONK balance still holds about 3.2 trillion tokens, and BONK has fallen 28% since the incident.
