LeBron James Says He Will Play for Another NBA Team

According to CNBC, LeBron James said he will play for another NBA team after telling the Los Angeles Lakers that he would become a free agent. At the CNBC Sport x Boardroom Game Plan Summit in New York City, James also said he would not keep people waiting much longer, and he discussed his long-running relationship with Nike, which began in 2003 with a 7-year, $90 million endorsement contract and later expanded into a lifetime deal in 2015. James said Nike needs to reconnect with its roots and its sense of style, while Fanatics founder and CEO Michael Rubin said in a separate session that building what Nike has built is nearly impossible and that the company must remain both big and cool.
