U.S. Strikes Hit Several Sites in Southern Iran, Including Port of Bandar Abbas

Iranian state media and local reports said U.S. forces struck several sites in southern Iran, including Bandar Abbas port, causing power outages in parts of the area. According to Odaily, the attack hit a communications tower, and U.S. fighter jets also launched a missile strike on Iran Shahr Airport in Sistan and Baluchestan province, where residents reported three loud explosions near the airport.

The railway junction in Bandar Abbas was also struck, injuring two people. A bridge in Hormozgan province's Hamir Port was hit the same night. Hormozgan provincial authorities said on the 17th that two bridges in the province were attacked, leaving two people dead and four injured.
