Thinking Machines Lab released Inkling on July 15, unveiling a 975-billion-parameter multimodal AI model with full weights available on Hugging Face under an Apache 2.0 license. According to NS3.AI, Inkling scored 74.1% on MCP Atlas, nearly 30 points above Nvidia's Nemotron 3 Ultra.
The report also said GLM 5.2 and Kimi K2.6 still lead on several key benchmarks.
