The Shenzhen-Hong Kong Financial Co-operation Committee, co-chaired by Xu Zhengyu, Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury of Hong Kong, and Luo Huanghao, Deputy Mayor of Shenzhen Municipal People's Government and Director of the Office of the Finance Committee of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee, was established yesterday and held its first meeting in Hong Kong. The Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau and the Shenzhen Local Monetary Authority signed the "Letter of Intent on Cooperation between the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Financial Co-operation Committee" at the inauguration ceremony, agreeing to hold regular meetings to strengthen cooperation in the financial field between the two places.
