Bank of America Chief Executive Officer Brian Moynihan joined a group of Wall Street leaders in voicing concern over Anthropic's Mythos and other artificial intelligence models. According to Jin10, Moynihan said the models mark a major change in workload and raise questions about how quickly they can expose system vulnerabilities and how fast businesses must respond.

In recent months, the rapid evolution of AI models has prompted the financial industry and the U.S. government to assess potential threats. Anthropic said Mythos, launched earlier this year, has performed well at finding system vulnerabilities. Bank of America is among the Wall Street firms authorized to use Mythos, and it has used the model to test its own systems and share information with peers. The model is not yet publicly available. JPMorgan Chief Executive Officer Jamie Dimon warned earlier this week that opening the system broadly to the public would be as dangerous as giving a ballistic missile to an individual.
