台积电将再向美国亚利桑那州投资1000亿美元，扩大在美产能，预计带来数以万计美国就业岗位。据BBC报道，这将使台积电对美国的总承诺升至2650亿美元，首席执行官魏哲家称，新增投资大概率将在亚利桑那州再建四座工厂。台积电同时公布第二季度净利润同比增长77%，4月至6月利润升至220亿美元，去年同期为124亿美元。
