TSMC Raises 2026 Capex Guidance to $60B-$64B, Lifts Revenue Outlook

TSMC has sharply raised its capital spending and revenue outlook for this year, reflecting confidence in global AI infrastructure demand. The chipmaker, a key supplier to Nvidia and Apple, now expects 2026 capital expenditure of $60 billion to $64 billion, up from a prior forecast of $52 billion to $56 billion. It also sees U.S.-dollar revenue rising by slightly more than 40%, compared with an earlier forecast of more than 30%, according to 36Kr. TSMC previously reported second-quarter net profit rose 77.4% year on year, beating market expectations.
