U.S. President Donald Trump said in a Fox Business interview that the Federal Reserve keeping interest rates unchanged is preferable to raising them, according to 36Kr. Responding to a question on whether he would accept the Fed staying on hold for the rest of the year, Trump stated, "I would like to see them come down. I want to see our country have the lowest rates in the world." Trump also said he has great respect for Fed Chair Kevin Warsh.
