According to PANews, SpaceXAI has announced the open-sourcing of its coding agent and end-user interface, Grok Build, with the source code now available on GitHub. The open-source release includes modules such as the agent loop, tool system, terminal UI rendering, and an extension system comprising skills, plugins, hooks, MCP servers, and sub-agents. Grok Build now supports fully local-first operation, allowing users to compile it and point to a local inference instance, driven by a config.toml configuration file.
