据明报报道，比亚迪(1211)执行副总裁李柯接受英国《金融时报》采访时表示，尽管无法进入美国市场，但这无阻集团向全球扩张，并将积极拓展欧洲市场。比亚迪创始人兼首席执行官王传福此前宣布，通过充电技术及海外市场的爆炸式扩张，有望超越丰田（日：7203）成为全球最大汽车制造商。
