China's Cyberspace Administration (CAC) published a filing list of seven on-device generative AI services for mobile terminals, according to 36Kr. Apple Technology Development (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.'s 'Apple Intelligence' large model was filed on July 8, 2026. Alibaba stated that its Qwen model will be integrated into Apple Intelligence as an AI capability, delivering text and image understanding and content generation to Chinese users on iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS without requiring app switching.
