分析指出，该指标的极端高位通常并非出现在市场狂热的顶部，而是出现在重新积累阶段。历史上，牛市顶部往往发生在该指标自高位开始回落之际，而非创出新高时。目前，在 BTC 价格较上一轮历史高点仍低约 50% 的情况下，长期持有者仍在持续吸收市场流通筹码。
