BlackRock: Federal Reserve has left policy leeway for September rate cut

Gargi Chaudhuri, head of Americas investment strategy at BlackRock iShares, said the signal of just one rate cut in the dot plot did not change her expectations for the Fed's strategy this year. She believes the Fed has left room for a rate cut in September if inflation continues to improve. The Fed will continue not to overreact to any one data point, including the softer May inflation data.
