Ansem said meme coins such as Dogecoin attract large numbers of buyers because they appeal to investors who would not typically participate in the stock market. According to Odaily, he wrote on X that these buyers may avoid traditional financial assets but are willing to purchase meme coins tied to familiar figures and tokens linked to their internet culture identity.

He added that once a meme coin reaches sufficient scale and liquidity, it can also draw participation from large funds and trading institutions.

Ansem said traditional investors tend to dislike meme coins because they do not understand the strong connection younger generations have with internet memes, culture, and content. He also said the crypto industry is unusual because tokenization is one of the few ways people can invest in and speculate on these social and cultural trends.

He said the next stage of progress is finding ways to convert the attention and capital momentum brought by retail speculators into assets that do not rely solely on meme popularity and can generate long-term value.
