Japan reduced its holdings of U.S. Treasuries in May. According to Jin10, U.S. Treasury Department data showed Japan held $1.143 trillion in U.S. Treasuries in May, down from $1.210 trillion in April.
The data also showed the United Kingdom held $949 billion in U.S. Treasuries in May, up from $938 billion in April.
China held $659 billion in U.S. Treasuries in May, up from $651 billion in April.
