France defender William Saliba was forced off with a suspected muscle problem during their World Cup semi-final against Spain, according to Yahoo Sports. Saliba went down without contact and was treated by team doctors before being substituted, with Maxence Lacroix coming on for his second appearance of the tournament.
France were trailing at the time after Lucas Digne conceded a penalty for a foul on Lamine Yamal and Mikel Oyarzabal scored from the spot to put Spain ahead.
