According to CNBC, cybersecurity stocks rose Tuesday after IBM CEO Arvind Krishna said customers are prioritizing cybersecurity amid rapidly evolving, industry-wide concerns, as he discussed the company’s preliminary second-quarter results. Krishna said some major deals were put on hold toward the end of the quarter as businesses reassessed spending, citing the rise of advanced artificial intelligence models such as Anthropic’s Mythos as a factor driving worries about faster, more sophisticated cyberattacks. Okta, Netskope and CrowdStrike climbed about 10% each, while SailPoint, Zscaler and SentinelOne gained about 8% each, and Palo Alto Networks rose about 7%.
