On June 13, it was announced that Polygon ID has been operated independently of Polygon Labs and renamed Privado ID in an attempt to expand beyond the Polygon network. Privado ID is establishing partnerships with on-chain and institutional organizations, including proof-of-concept with multiple multinational banks and financial services companies. Privado ID is also integrated with Verax attention regedit on the Lineazk EVM chain developed by Consensys.
The Privado ID team includes Polygon co-founder David Schwartz and Antoni Martin as CEO and chief operating officer, Jordi Baylina, the point person developed by Polygon zkEVM, as technical advisor, and Sandeep Nailwal, co-founder of Polygon Labs, as growth advisor.
Polygon ID is independently operated from Polygon Labs and renamed Privado ID.
