SK Hynix’s Korea-listed shares and its U.S.-listed ADR are showing a notable price gap, according to on-chain analyst Ai Yi.

According to Odaily, the analyst’s monitoring found SKHX priced at about $1,303.85 while SKHY was about $170.61, with the gap reaching roughly 30.9% at its widest.

The analysis said conversion between the two is one-way: investors can only cancel the U.S. ADR to exchange back into Korea-listed common shares. It added that when the ADR trades at a premium, market participants are unlikely to carry out such conversions, which the analysis cited as a reason the price gap persists and cannot be arbitraged away.
