Nick Timiraos, often described as a close observer of the Federal Reserve, said June CPI data was moderate across the board. According to Jin10, core goods prices fell for a second consecutive month, down 0.09%.
Timiraos said housing prices rose only 0.12%. He added that core services prices excluding housing fell 0.2%, marking the lowest level since the pandemic.
