Oman’s Foreign Ministry said on the 14th that it will continue cooperating with all parties in a transparent and neutral manner to help restore freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and ensure any related arrangements fully comply with international law.
According to Odaily, the statement was issued amid recent discussions about navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
The ministry said Oman will continue fulfilling its obligations as a party to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea and called on relevant parties to respect international law and handle related issues in accordance with it.
