According to Lianhe Zaobao citing Kyodo News, Oriental Land said Tuesday (July 14) it will raise the maximum ticket price at Tokyo Disney Resort starting in October, its first increase in three years. Based on the company’s price schedule for the next three months, the adult one-day ticket will rise by as much as JPY 1,500 to a peak of JPY 12,400, with prices varying by day of the week and season and rising during high-demand periods such as holidays and seasonal events. A company spokesperson cited rising labor and administrative costs. Oriental Land introduced dynamic pricing in March 2021; adult tickets previously ranged from JPY 7,900 to JPY 10,900, and the company no longer discloses the full pricing range, indicating prices could rise further. In June, Oriental Land raised Tokyo Disney parking fees by JPY 1,000 to JPY 4,000 for standard passenger vehicles and JPY 6,000 for large vehicles.
