Iran’s Foreign Ministry condemned what it called a hostile act by the UK government after Britain labeled Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) a threat under its domestic security law. According to Jin10, the ministry said the UK decision was groundless and irresponsible, and violated basic principles of international law.
The statement said those principles include sovereign equality among states and the principle of non-interference in internal affairs.
