WORLD CUP | Referee Ivan Barton to Take Charge of Spain vs France Semi-Final in Dallas

Referee Ivan Barton of El Salvador will take charge of the World Cup semi-final between Spain and France in Dallas, according to Yahoo Sports. Barton, 35, made his World Cup refereeing debut at the 2022 tournament in Qatar and has worked regularly in Concacaf competitions. Earlier in this edition, he sent off Paraguay’s Miguel Almiron against Turkey for covering his mouth during a confrontation and also officiated the round-of-16 match between Colombia and Switzerland. The match officials list also includes assistant referees David Moran and Antonio Pupiro (both El Salvador), fourth official Glenn Nyberg (Sweden), and reserve assistant referee Mahbod Begi (Sweden).
