Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky said on X that he has been quietly following real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, describing much of the discussion as “noise” while adding that “real things” are happening beneath it.
According to ChainCatcher, Chesky shared his observations in a long post that cited comments from X user @StarPlatinum_ about Robinhood Chain.
The cited comments said Robinhood Chain’s long-term focus is the RWA sector and referenced a statement from Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev from one week earlier, in which Tenev described meme coins as assets without underlying utility.
