China-based DRAM maker ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT) is reportedly planning to list on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on July 27, according to Ming Pao.
Nomura Greater China semiconductor and technology analyst Teng Zhe’an said the memory market remains undersupplied, and that CXMT could benefit from memory shortages in the coming years given its production capacity and technology, with potential to expand its market share.
