Yixin, a social messaging app backed by China Telecom, will adjust its business starting in August 2026, after which the app's wallet balance function will no longer be usable, according to 36Kr. Yixin customer service confirmed the change to Sina Tech, saying the in-app wallet feature will be adjusted after August and users with remaining balances are advised to withdraw funds as soon as possible, or they may be unable to withdraw or use the balance later. Staff said the wallet function may be removed, and they have not received notice on whether other Yixin app features will be affected.
