Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin said Ethereum Layer 1 fee revenue should remain low to encourage growth.
According to Foresight News, Lubin wrote on X that over the next 2–3 years, tens of thousands of enterprises are expected to conduct business using Ethereum Layer 1, Layer 2, and private permissioned EVM networks such as the Besu chain.
He said monetary premium is expected to rise significantly, and that Layer 1 fee revenue from activity would increase notably.
Lubin also said staking and other actions that lock up ETH would reduce supply, and that under “ultrasound” conditions, ETH’s net burn would further increase its value.
