Telegram’s core domain, t.me, has been placed in serverHold status by the .me domain registry, which would remove the domain from the global DNS system and make links starting with t.me/ temporarily inaccessible.
According to Odaily, International Cyber Digest said in a post on X that the status change means the domain would be removed from DNS worldwide.
Domain records show the change occurred today. Telegram, the .me domain registry, and its backend operator, Identity Digital, have not issued public statements about the matter.
