Braiin jumps 62% on Aria AI agent launch; AppLovin slides 12% as chip and memory stocks fall

According to CNBC, shares of Braiin surged 62% after the AI platform company launched Aria, an AI agent designed for the real estate industry, with CEO Natraj Balasubramanian saying it could create a scalable recurring software opportunity in a global real estate software market forecast to reach about $32 billion by 2033. AppLovin fell 12%, making it the worst-performing S&P 500 member to start the week and putting it on pace for its sixth daily decline in seven sessions. Biogen rose nearly 2% after Truist upgraded the stock to buy from hold, citing potential upside tied to upcoming investigational drug-trial data. U.S.-listed shares of Nio gained 3% after Goldman Sachs upgraded the stock to buy from neutral and set a $7 price target, implying 46% upside from Friday’s close. SpaceX shares fell nearly 4% to a fresh post-IPO low, nearing its $135 offering price, even after the Federal Aviation Administration said it had closed an investigation that clears the way for a flight test as early as this week. SK Hynix’s U.S.-listed shares dropped 8% after their Nasdaq debut on Friday, while its Seoul-listed shares sank more than 15% for their worst day on record. The Roundhill Memory ETF (DRAM) fell 9% as Sandisk slid 12%, with Western Digital down 6% and Micron Technology off 4%; the iShares Semiconductor ETF (SOXX) fell 4% as Intel dropped more than 5% and Advanced Micro Devices fell 3%. MGM Resorts International rose more than 1% after The Wall Street Journal reported the company is in private talks with Barry Diller following an early June offer by Diller’s People to buy the company. Energy stocks rose as oil prices climbed more than 4% after President Donald Trump reinstated a blockade on Iranian ships on the Strait of Hormuz, lifting Valero Energy 4%, ConocoPhillips nearly 3%, APA 2.5%, Exxon Mobil 3% and Chevron 2%. Shopify and Deckers Outdoor Group each gained about 2% after Jefferies upgraded both stocks to buy.
