Bonzo Lend said it lost about $9.05 million after an attacker exploited a verification flaw in a third-party Supra oracle contract on July 11. According to NS3.AI, Bonzo said the lending protocol remains paused while recovery work continues.
The incident coincided with a sharp decline in activity on Hedera-based DeFi. Hedera’s total value locked fell nearly 40% over 24 hours, while Bonzo’s total value locked dropped 77%.
