TeraWulf CEO Paul Prager said the firm’s roughly $19 billion AI hosting agreement with Anthropic highlights its shift from Bitcoin mining to AI infrastructure. In an interview, according to CoinDesk, Prager said the 20-year lease for a Kentucky project was won in a competitive bid focused on access to grid power and long-term infrastructure, and that the contract value exceeds TeraWulf’s current market capitalization. He said the facility is expected to come online beginning in 2028 and that TeraWulf has hired Fluor to help build it.
