Slaven Bilic has been appointed Croatia coach following the departure of Zlatko Dalic after the World Cup, returning to the role 14 years after he last left it, according to Yahoo Sports. Bilic previously coached Croatia from 2006 to 2012 and has since worked at clubs including West Ham, West Bromwich Albion, and Al Fateh.
Croatia exited the World Cup in the round of 32 after a 2-1 loss to Portugal. Dalic resigned last week after a nine-year spell in which he led Croatia to the 2018 World Cup final and third place in 2022.
