Qubic said its GitHub organization experienced a security incident after a compromised account was used to access code repositories and extract keys, adding that the team has identified the issue and is handling it.
According to Foresight News, Qubic urged Network Guardian users to immediately rotate their mnemonic phrases.
The project also advised users who unlocked the web wallet between 11:00 and 18:00 to migrate to a new identity as soon as possible.
Qubic warned developers not to pull or deploy code from Qubic repositories until an official confirmation that an audit has been completed.
It said incident details and subsequent updates will be posted on its official Discord channel, and a post-incident review report will be released after the response is completed.
